Welcome. Each month we take The Movie Experience one step further with The Screening Room Classics Series. From the moment you walk through the door of our theatre, our Hosts/Hostesses are there to make sure you are comfortably seated in our theatre so that we may present to you classic films the way they were meant to be seen, once again, on the big screen.

Our host begins the evening with a discussion with production notes about the film or related topics in the film industry. We present prizes of dinners, posters, movie passes, and anything else we can find related to the movies. This time of discussion, trivia and prizes is called the "Social Time". In the past, we frequently had special guests visit us in The Screening Room to talk about the film and join in the open discussion. We've been fortunate to have some great guests such as Kathy Bates for "Fried Green Tomatoes", Pepper Davis and the original Rockford Peaches for "A League of Their Own", Bryon Spinkx from the movie "Jack the Bear", Pat Duncan, writer and Executive Producer for "A Home of Our Own", and Rabbi Haim Asa, one of the actual survivors from Schindler's list, to discuss Steven Spielberg's movie "Schindler's List".

All this started about ten years ago. Bruce Sanborn, President, The Movie Experience, Inc. originally came up with the idea to provide a different movie going experience and a means by which guests could choose and then see their favorite films. Actually, any one can see their favorite movie in The Screening Room because we listen to all of your suggestions. The films that we show in the Classics Series have been selected and voted on by the guests who visit us each month.

Once a month we bring back to life movies such as "Casablanca", "Singin' in the Rain", "Ben-Hur", "The African Queen" and "Gone with the Wind". Each classic is shown in it's original format just as it was released. We have even taken an extra step for some of our classics by presenting "Dial M for Murder" in 3D and "Oklahoma" in it's original 30 frames per second Todd-AO format.

Our 12th year of showing classic films on a regular basis will start October 2007. The Movie Experience is proud to bring you Hollywood's Great Musical and Spectacles.

Although word of mouth is our only advertising, you can find out The Screening Room feature by calling our message machine or asking one of our managers. It's that simple. So on with the show, and we hope to see you at The Screening Room Classics Series.
